Who we are
This site and its email list are run by Crowned Visionary Media LLC, trading as Barbara Queen and Maison Sarti Éditions, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA. For anything about your information, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Your email address, and your name if you choose to give it. That is all the form asks for. MailerLite, which runs our list, also keeps a record of when you signed up and confirmed, as proof that you asked to join.
Why we use it
To send you what you signed up for: Chapter One of Steele & Velvet, the Confession letters of The Seduction Codex, and occasional news about Barbara Queen’s books. Nothing else.
Double opt-in
After you sign up, you’ll get one email asking you to confirm. Until you click it, you won’t receive any letters.
Who handles it for us
Our list is hosted by MailerLite, which stores your details and sends our emails on our behalf. It is the only service your details go to.
No selling, no sharing
We never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
Leaving
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click takes you off the list. You can also write to [email protected] and we’ll remove you.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Its fonts and images are served from this site. When you press “Open it,” your name and email are sent straight to MailerLite. The emails themselves go out through MailerLite, which may record opens and clicks so we can see that the letters arrive.
Your rights
If you live in the EU or UK, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you live in California, you can ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. We don’t sell personal information.
